A challenging role at the heart of our Private Bank. You will have an opportunity to coordinate, facilitate and streamline the interactions among the Front Office Teams and the Compliance and Risk Departments.

Your missions
  • Coordinate and streamline communications and interactions between Front Office, Compliance and Central File, to increase the number of “RIGHT FIRST TIME” files and allow to shorten the duration of account openings.
  • Monitor progress of open account opening with the Compliance and the Central File.
  • Streamline, coordinate and when necessary lead the front office performance of client periodic reviews for all risk categories of clients. Review the quality and completeness of Information provided by the Front Office to Compliance, whether for account openings or within periodic review exercises
  • Raise awareness of the front office to risks and generally assist and educate the front office with regards to its duties as a “first line of defense”
  • Follow-up of any action required by the Head of Private Banking in the contexts above.
  • Monitor document deficiencies, AML/transaction monitoring pending and “first line of defense” controls, and streamline, coordinate and when necessary lead remediation actions required.
  • Participate in ad hoc/special projects and in the implementation of all business risk related tasks/projects.
  • Centralize and streamline Information requests to improve client experience.
Your profile

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent (preferably in Business Administration , Economics or Information management)
  • CAS in Compliance a strong preference

Professional Experience required:

  • 10 years’ professional experience in Private Banking, either in Front Office or Compliance positions
  • Profound understanding of the Global Wealth Industry including the External Asset Management business.
  • Solid understanding of all front-line processes (account openings, client documentation, investment processes, transaction monitoring, etc.) and related regulatory requirements (AML, tax, compliance)

  • Self-motivated, team orientated and hands-on personality, comfortable with driving and managing change, challenging status quo.
  • Ability to keep ahead of industry and relevant regulatory developments

Languages:

French & English fluent – any other European language a plus (German, Spanish or Portuguese).
