The investment philosophy of flexible asset allocation, disciplined risk management and liquidity remains at the heart of the proposition, while the combined expertise of the multi-asset, fixed income and global equity team will benefit total return strategies. The new team will also be supported by quantitative analysis insights across asset classes from the Quantitative Solutions team, headed by Benoît Vaucher.
Under the new structure, Pichoud, who has been a senior member of the multi-asset team since 2015, is responsible for the investment strategy. Maurice Harari will oversee equity allocation with the support of the Global Equity team for security selection; credit selection will be performed by the credit team led by Antonio Ruggeri and Christophe Buttigieg will oversee the emerging market debt exposure.
