Strategic Project Manager

As part of its 3-year strategic ambitions, Bank Syz is strengthening its project-management capabilities in the form of a dedicated Strategic Projects Unit, under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer. The Bank’s Executive Committee sees this Unit as critical for driving its transformation initiatives, steering its external-acquisition program, and eventually achieving its revenue-growth and profitability targets.

Working closely with the CFO, under the direct supervision of the Head of Strategic Projects, the Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for delivering strategic projects for the bank in an impactful way, in addition to the key responsibilities listed below:

Your missions
  • Manage the projects and initiatives identified by the Executive Committee as the most critical to the successful achievement of the Bank’s 3-year strategic plan
  • Report to the Bank’s Executive Committee on those projects and initiatives
  • Contribute to the annual update of the 3-year strategic plan, in collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis Unit
  • Carry out ad hoc missions as requested by the CFO
Your profile

Professional experience

  • 3+ years’ proven experience in a top-tier consulting firm, preferably with a focus on wealth management and/or asset management


Professional competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge of project-management toolkit
  • Excellent organization, planning and execution skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthetize and present complex information clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively and persuasively


Personal competencies:

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work under limited supervision
  • Team player
  • Capacity to build trust relationships with teammates and key stakeholders in the organization
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and adjust quickly, in a fast-pace environment


Language requirements:

  • Excellent command of English and French, both spoken and written


IT Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Management (or equivalent qualification)
