Relationship Manager – Central market

Purpose of the role:

The Relationship Manager will be working within the bank’s Wealth Management department in our Geneva office. We are looking for a person who is eager to contribute to the team’s success, and to develop a successful career within Syz. 

Your missions
  • Under the supervision of a Senior Relationship Manager, take over an existing client book while analyzing the clients’ requirements and needs
  • Meet prospects and clients, prepare client meetings, and manage follow-up actions
  • Understand internal product offering and ability to pitch solutions to clients
  • Liaise between our advisory team and the final clients in order to communicate investment proposals, aligned with the client’s goals, assets and chosen investment policy in accordance with the Bank’s investment strategy based on the client’s investment objectives and profile (Advisory, Discretionary processes etc. and so maintain close collaboration with Investment Specialists and the Investment Platform to keep up-do-date with investment solutions and guidelines
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date client investment profiles using internal tools
  • Ensure that all legal documents are duly signed by the client when the account is opened and during the relationship and complying with all regulation, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk & compliance culture
  • Ensure the plausibility and truthfulness of the client information, evaluation whether the client is at risk or not, responsible for the account opening process (identity check, KYC, World check etc.)
  • Ensure that its level of knowledge relating to its markets is up to date (market watch - cross-border rules, geopolitical news, product knowledge etc.)
  • Execute transactions, payments and other banking operations
  • Set up new accounts and follow-up on administrative matters
  • Control and handling of internal processes; client compliancy; data base; client files to all relevant local laws and regulatory requirements
  • Perform administrative tasks related to client files and provide administrative, organizational and communication support to the Senior Relationship Manager in his daily tasks: execution of clients’ instructions, opening of personal accounts, companies, operational companies, preparation of reports, etc.
  • Prepare the of reports at the request of the clients, the line manager, the Compliance Officer or other authorized person
  • Participation in Bank’s events
Your profile


  • University Degree in finance or similar qualification
  • A post-graduate qualification such as CFA or CWMA is required

Professional Experience required:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years in the private banking industry with at least 3 to 5 years as Relationship Manager
