Context: As part of its 3-year strategic ambitions, Bank Syz is strengthening its project-management capabilities in the form of a dedicated Strategic Projects Unit, under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer. The Bank’s Executive Committee sees this Unit as critical for driving its transformation initiatives, steering its external-acquisition program, and eventually achieving its revenue-growth and profitability targets.
Job summary: Working closely with the CFO and the CEO, and with the support of a Project Manager, the Head of Strategic Projects will be leading the Strategic Projects Unit, in addition to the key responsibilities listed below.
- Manage the projects and initiatives identified by the Executive Committee as the most critical to the successful achievement of the Bank’s 3-year strategic plan
- Report to the Bank’s Executive Committee on those projects and initiatives
- Advise the CFO and the CEO on the Bank’s strategic priorities
- Contribute to the annual update of the 3-year strategic plan, in collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis Unit
- Support the CFO and the CEO in the preparation of the Board of Directors’ meetings
- Carry out ad hoc missions as requested by the CFO and the CEO
Professional experience
- 5+ years’ proven experience in a top-tier consulting firm, preferably with a focus on wealth management and/or asset management
