The IT Operations and Infrastructure team’s mission is to “Keep the Lights On” through proper operation of the Bank’s core platforms, as well as enabling and reinforcing the bank’s capacity to carry out its business objectives through well-aligned infrastructure solutions.

Job purpose

Act as Team Leader for the systems team in IT Operations, provide IT System administration activities for a range of relative IT equipment as well as participate in the Bank’s projects and drive missions in alignment with IT goals.


Job description / key responsibilities

Team Lead responsibilities:

  • Architecture
    • Definition of systems architecture concept for corporate applications and new projects
    • Design of overall systems concept
    • Collaborate with Security architects
  • Team management
    • People management (holidays, evaluation, training…)
    • Manage the IT systems budget
    • Organisation of resource hiring if applicable

Technical responsibilities:

  • Manage full life-cycle of product portfolio assignment
  • Participate in missions and projects related to the IT domain of activity
  • Handle 2nd level support tickets for area of responsibility
  • Proactively monitor and report incidents
  • Ensure efficient capacity management is carried out
  • Liaise with suppliers and 3rd party suppliers for issue resolution and procurement
  • Provide out-of-hours  support and on-call as required

Education and professional experience

  • + 8 years experience in the IT industry ideally
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in IT Computing
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader / Manager or Project Manager

Skills and competences

  • Solid knowledge of IT domains including :
    • Windows Server Administration
    • Automation of routine sysadmin activities
    • O365 / Azure administration  and security principals
    • Hypervisor experience – preferably vSphere
    • IT security principals
  • Knowledge of:
    • MDM systems for Mobile phones
    • Citrix Desktop products
    • Redhat Linux
    • Administration of Databases (MS SQL & Oracle)
  • Good general knowledge of IT
  • ITIL certification or knowledge a plus
  • Fluent French and good English and strong writing skills in both languages
