The analyst will support the Investment team across private markets funds and deals analysis, pipeline management, industry research, monitoring and analysis of market trends, and preparation of investment reports. The analyst will report to the Portfolio Manager of the Syz Private Market Opportunities (SPMO) program and assist in all aspects of portfolio management, including valuation, reporting, acquisitions, build-ups, liquidity events and exits, strategic development, and operational planning. The analyst will work closely with and alongside the senior management and analysts of the firm, and portfolio investments. The individual will also help in value creation efforts at portfolio and firm level such as automation of internal reports, maintenance of the fund's databases, and administrative support in daily tasks.

- Assist in monitoring and managing portfolio companies and fund positions
- Prepare materials for the Investment Committee
- Prepare pitchbooks
- Draft quarterly reports, with comprehensive operational and valuation report
Ihr Profil
- Master’s degree from a leading university in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, M&A, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting (internships included).
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and business planning, with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and analytical mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Extensive experience generating high quality presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach, showing flexibility
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Fluent in English and at least one additional European language
