SYZ & CO Leman Sailing Speed Records | |

To encourage the quest for sailing performance on Lake Geneva, Banque SYZ & CO has decided to join forces with the Cercle de la Voile of Geneva’s Société Nautique de Genève to promote a series of speed records under the name «SYZ & CO Leman Sailing Speed Records». |
Regulations regarding the two existing speed records, the Ruban Bleu or Blue Ribbon (cross-category speed record for the return crossing between Geneva and Le Bouveret) and the Ruban Violet (Purple Ribbon), indicating the same crossing for single-hull sailboats only, have been updated to account for advances in sailing technology. Furthermore, in order to expand the range of possibilities for speed lovers, two new trophies have been introduced: the Hour Record and the Pure Speed Record over one kilometre.

09.11.2011 La désormais traditionnelle remise des trophées "SYZ & CO Leman Sailing Speed Records" a eu lieu aujourd'hui mercredi 9 novembre à la SNG, à l’issue de l’Assemblée générale du Cercle de la Voile. Le grand vainqueur de cette année n’est autre qu’Alain Thébault sur son prototype l’Hydroptère.ch, avec deux records battus largement, celui de l’Heure et celui du Kilomètre!
