Reporting to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will lead the financial team and will manage all financial topics relative to the Group, including supporting the Group in the performance management of all profit and cost centres. Basing his/her work on financial information at his disposal, he will assist the CFO in assuring that all department heads and employees are working towards achieving the Group’s vision, objectives and growth.
Prepare monthly management reports to Executive Committee, Board of Directors and External partners, including variance analysis
Manage quarterly and yearly consolidation of financial statements according to FINMA, including the preparation of the Group Annual report
Manage the statutory annual financial statements of subsidiaries, in accordance with IFRS and/or Swiss Code of Obligations
Prepare and manage yearly budgeting processes and forecasts
Establish a business performance management discipline to help the Group focus on actionable business drivers and improve operational, investment and capital decision making through implementation of robust budgets, metrics and corporate targets.
Develop and implement a performance measurement system in order to quantify the organisation’s performance by using the right mechanism (i.e. Balanced Scorecard BSC, etc)
Guide profit/costs centre managers in the development of performance measurement targets to ensure all targets are SMART (Specific, Measure, Achievable, Realistic and Time-framed). Benchmark with competitors and recommend actions to improve performance.
Prepare and manage year-end audit material and support external auditors during the audit
Lead the accounting team (responsible for bookkeeping and/or regulatory reporting of the holding company and several subsidiaries)
Implement and maintain a robust control environment within the Finance Department
Ensure that regulatory reporting is compliant with FINMA/SNB regulations (statistics, regulatory capital planning)
Supervise all Corporate tax at Group level and VAT processes
Participate in ad-hoc projects in accounting systems and process improvements

Education: BS in Management, Accounting, Finance or related discipline (CPA, Chartered Accountant strongly preferred).
Professional experience: Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in financial roles with exposure to multiple business environments and solutions. Considerable knowledge of strategic planning, strategic management, and performance management. Proven track record of implementing operational performance management in addition to traditional financial measure reporting. Proficiency in orchestrating advancements via cross functional teams is essential.

Language requirements: French & English.
IT requirements : Good knowledge of Avaloq and FIRE. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) at an advanced level, Navision.
